Aims
Oaks International Education Ltd ( UK Oaks)  aims to provide a safe, secure and nurturing environment for all children under our guardianship. We are committed to safeguarding their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing, ensuring they are protected from bullying, sexual abuse, criminal activity, and radicalisation.

Principles

Child-Centred Care: Children’s welfare is our top priority in all aspects of guardianship.

Safeguarding: We adhere strictly to our Child Protection Policy and relevant legislation to prevent harm and respond promptly to any concerns.

Transparency and Accountability: All staff understand their responsibilities, report concerns appropriately, and maintain clear records of actions taken.

Professionalism: Guardians and staff act ethically, respectfully, and with integrity at all times.

Practice

Monitoring and Support: Children are regularly supervised, and their wellbeing is actively monitored.

Reporting Procedures: Any concerns about sexual abuse, mental health, or serious welfare issues are reported immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Serious cases are escalated to the Local Authority Children’s Services (LPS) or the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) following proper referral procedures.

Education and Guidance: Children receive guidance on personal safety, healthy relationships, and appropriate behaviour to foster resilience and positive decision-making.

Continuous Improvement: Staff training, policy reviews, and regular audits ensure our practices remain compliant with best standards and responsive to emerging safeguarding challenges.
