Twinning Programme
China's cooperation with foreign schools:
Chinese and international schools that have signed cooperation agreements, Chinese schools, and the Shanghai Oaks Education Group will promote the curriculum, advanced teaching concepts, and the facilities of international schools to Chinese institutions. They will recommend and guide students to apply for GCSE and A-level courses abroad. Under the same entry criteria, students from cooperative schools will be given priority in admission.
China's cooperation with foreign universities for vocational and technical education:
2+2 undergraduate programme: Chinese and foreign universities that have established cooperative relationships can jointly offer a 2+2 undergraduate programme. Students will be able to study undergraduate courses in a Chinese university for two years and then transfer to the partner university in the UK or other European countries as a class to complete the remaining two years of undergraduate courses. After graduation, students will receive both Chinese and foreign degrees. Students who wish to continue their studies will be able to pursue a master's or doctoral degree at the cooperative university or other universities.
3+1 undergraduate programme: Chinese and international universities that have established cooperative relationships can jointly offer a 3+1 undergraduate programme. Students will study undergraduate courses in a Chinese university for three years and then transfer to a cooperative university in the UK or other European countries as a class to complete the remaining one year of undergraduate courses. After graduation, students will receive both Chinese and foreign degrees. Students who wish to continue their studies will be able to pursue a master's or doctoral degree at the cooperative university or other universities.
4+0 undergraduate programme: Chinese and international universities that have established cooperative relationships can jointly offer a 4+0 undergraduate programme. Students will study undergraduate courses in a Chinese university for all four years, and the cooperative foreign universities can participate in the programme by providing teaching materials or a small number of teachers and sharing a certain proportion of tuition fees and other income. After graduation, students who wish to pursue a master's or doctoral degree will be able to directly apply for the cooperative university's programmes.
Online teaching: Chinese and international universities that have established cooperative relationships will jointly offer on-line teaching and learning with the Shanghai Oaks International Education Group. They will provide world-leading professional knowledge and technology through live web-casts, targeting Chinese cooperative students, as well as students and social groups outside of school. This will promote knowledge exchange and make contributions to humanity.
